September
3, 2002 -- San Diego, CA -- Travel Talk RadioTM
announced today that
Kathy
Le Tarte, Chairman of the National Tour Association (NTA),
will be a special guest on Travel Talk Radio's ONLINE program Thursday,
September 5, 2002 from 9 - 11am Pacific at www.traveltalkradio.com.
"As we approach the one-year anniversary of the
Sept. 11 tragedy, we would like to take time to honor the NTA for
the quick response and successful programs it put into place during
those first discouraging months," announced Sandy Dhuyvetter,
executive producer and host of Travel Talk Radio. The NTA aided
the travel industry by immediately going into a proactive crisis
management mode and creating a pubic awareness program called "Travel...the
perfect freedom" to encourage consumer travel. The message
urged Americans to exercise their freedom to travel and continues to
promote hundreds of NTA members across the country, 13 state
tourism offices and several other travel organizations in the United
States and Canada. NTA also produced "Travel...the perfect
freedom" television and radio public service announcements
that are currently airing on more than 75 stations in 51 markets.
"We always enjoy our conversations with the NTA executive
team on Travel Talk Radio, but Chairman Kathy LeTarte brings a
special passion and knowledge of the NTA and travel to the
program," said Sandy. "We are delighted to have her back on
the program and look forward to learning more about the future plans of
the NTA."
Also joining Sandy on the show is C. Samuel Marasco,
founder and President/CEO Land Grant Development of San Diego,
CA. Land Grant Development is a leader in the commercial real estate
industry, with a niche expertise in bi-national, cross-border
development. The company has developed, acquired and managed more than
10 million square feet of retail, office and multi-family residential
properties in the USA and Mexico. Las Americas - a retail, entertainment
and cultural destination, consist of retail and mixed-use projects
exceeding $500 million.
Jennifer Reynolds, Marketing Manager from the
Miami office of Quasar Nautica / Galapagos Expeditions will be
joining Travel Talk Radio. The Galapagos Islands present a very exciting
and different travel destination for families and friends. The
archipelago is on the equator in the Pacific Ocean 600-miles west of
Ecuador and consists of 15 islands and numerous islets. More than 97% of
the land and all the surrounding water are dedicated as the Galapagos
National Park and Marine Reserve.

Santini, Legislative Counsel for the National Tour Association's
