Welcome to this weeks TravelTalkMEDIA newsletter. |

From
Jamaica to Texas TravelTalkMEDIA
brings you the experts in travel!
A couple of days ago we said good
bye to our SuperClubs family at
Breezes Runaway Bay in Jamaica and
headed back to Southern CA to
quickly repack for a bit colder
weather and join 3,000 friends from
the American Bus Association in
Grapevine, Texas. As we left the
Runaway property we stood in the
lobby saying our final farewell to
General Manager Cheddy Parchment and
PR director Patricia Clarke. Other staff members and many
of the guests we had met also came
by to give their final regards.

Railroad Depot

birds enjoy the view of
historic
downtown Grapevine. |
|
I couldn't help but look
at the many people
gathered around us and
see why SuperClubs is so
special. The ability of
SuperClubs to hire a
staff of genuinely
friendly, service
oriented people who work
hard, play hard and
truly share a love for
the company, its
products and its mission
is at the heart of the
SuperClubs success
story. There is nothing
better for us than to
work with a company that
is socially responsible,
quality oriented and so
well-loved by its staff.
More than ever, we
believe if you want to
truly recreate yourself,
go to SuperClubs as soon
as you can. With 17
destinations and 3
brands, from the 5-star
luxury of the Grand
Lidos, the active-sports
lifestyle of the
Breezes, and the
free-spirited Hedonisms,
there is truly something
for everyone. Click
HERE for live
our radio coverage last
week including photos
and links. We will be
premiering our TV
coverage of the newly
renovated Breezes
Runaway Bay within two
weeks.
Next we set our sites on
Texas and we took a few
hours upon our arrival
to tour the historic
town of Grapevine, just
north of Dallas/Fort
Worth Airport. Anyone
who has flown into or
out of DFW has actually
visited Grapevine, as
most of the airport lies
within its city limits.
At first blush, you can
see the tremendous job
the local community and
its leaders have done by
preserving this little
old western town and its
railroad heritage. At
the same time, the
modern Grapevine has
emerged, or perhaps the
better word is exploded,
mainly due to the
building of the massive
DFW at its feet over 30
years ago. Strategically
located midway between
Dallas and Fort Worth,
Grapevine is an eclectic
mix of old and new, city
and country, as the two
modern metros areas
converge together around
the nucleus of Grapevine
and its many local
wineries. We will be
creating TV coverage of
this priceless "little"
Texas town and share the
views with you in within
a few weeks. So stay
tuned!
We are in Grapevine at
the huge Gaylord Texan
Convention Center and
Resort for the
American Bus
Association's Annual
Marketplace. This is
where the motorcoach
tour operators,
destination marketing
teams and group travel
experts convene to
actively plan their
business ops together
for the upcoming travel
season. This year's
event promises to set
new attendance records
with ABA members and
delegates coming from
all over the US and
Canada. As we set up the
world-famous
TravelTalkMEDIA Tiki Hut
at the Gaylord Texan, we
couldn't help but notice
the 10 sparkling new,
custom motorcoaches
inside the exhibit hall.
The coaches are
surrounding the
conference and expo area
looking much like a
"circling of the wagons"
in the Old West. These
beauties each approach
seven figures and
feature interiors and
amenities that compete
with the finest
corporate jets. An
impressive site for
sure.
Join me this Sunday as
we introduce you to the
experts in the guided
tour business and group
travel. More
specifically, come learn
why the motorcoach
business is perfectly
suited for all
generations of
travelers. Seniors have
known for years that
motorcoach touring is
addictive, and now we
see the boomers are
flocking to guided tours
thanks to the new
offerings and the
personal experiences
coach companies are
providing their guests.
New trends also show
multiple family members
are traveling together
and grandparents are
bringing their
grandchildren on guided
tours in record numbers.
There is truly something
for everyone in this
travel arena as well.
Join me on
TravelTalkRADIO this
Sunday LIVE from
Grapevine as we
learn more about this
fabulous way of seeing
our beautiful world.
Floating along the
highway at 12 feet in
the air, a motorcoach
will make you feel like
you can touch the tree
tops!
A final thanks to
Southwest Airlines for
its continuing support
of the messages of
TravelTalkRADIO and TV.
Southwest is as easy to
ride as a motorcoach AND
they always have great
