Welcome to this weeks TravelTalkRADIO newsletter.
Weve just returned from an eight day trip to Pattaya, Thailand where we attended two important conference-expos focused on business travel and corporate incentive travel in the Pacific Asia region. The shows, held concurrently in the same venue, are the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia conference (IT&CMA) and the Corporate Travel World (CTW) Asia expo. The events attracted nearly 2,000 delegates indicating that there is great interest in the current and future growth of the multi-billion dollar market for business and corporate travel in this part of the world.
We were sponsored by the conference organisers, TTG Asia Media and hosted by the fabulous Royal Cliff Beach Hotel. The events were held at the PEACH, the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall, located in the midst of several beautiful resort hotels including the Royal Cliff and all situated right on the beach. The convention and hotel facilities at the PEACH are ideal for handling large numbers of delegates similar to those attracted by the IT&CMA and CTW conferences. Of all the hundreds of conferences the TravelTalkMEDIA team has attended throughout the years, the IT&CMA/CTW Asia ranked as one of the most professionally organized and managed ever. The organiser, TTG Asia Media deserves special commendation for its efforts and outstanding results.
TTG Asia is perhaps the most established and reliable travel trade newspaper in Asia. It has a circulation of 16,800 readers every week. With in-depth analyses and incisive editorials, TTG Asia focuses on the needs and interests of travel agents and travel professionals and boasts the largest network of editorial staff and correspondents across Asia.
The Pattaya conferences provided a wonderful opportunity for us to renew our many relationships in the business and incentive travel markets relationships seem to continually transcend into long term friendships. There were also many well orchestrated networking events affording the time and opportunity to meet new contacts, explore new markets and travel products and, as always, enjoy the people and the food of the host country. We are very grateful for the assistance the TTG staff and, in particular Wendy Chan and Ashley Lee, in helping us organise interviews with many of the keynote speakers and presenters at the Pattaya conferences. These interviews are now available for your easy listening, on demand 24x7. Please click on the above graphic with the IT&CMA and CTW logo to connect you directly to a page full of rich content and multi-media delivery.
