This is the final time we will be contacting you about the World Tourism Marketing Summit. The time is now to decide if you are going!  I'd like to personally invite you to one of the year's most exciting conferences, the World Tourism Marketing Summit (WTMS). The benefits are many as you will soon discover personal and business relationships will be born and old relationships will be renewed. Our personal story is worth noting as we attend our 2nd WTMS this October. We carry with us not only the memories of the 1st summit but also the benefits of the Nanjing conference in 2004.

The relationships we formed with two Chinese radio stations have stayed active, profitable and have grown into true friendships. Our work with countless other companies and individuals who were at the last summit have trickled down to benefit our audiences across the world. The time has never been more perfect. Beijing is the hot destination and the price to play is phenomenal.

Following is a letter from Mr. Sujit Chowdhury personally inviting you to the World Tourism Marketing Summit. I sincerely hope to see you all there.
Warm regards,

Sandy

Dear TravelTalkMEDIA Readers,
On behalf of the Global Coordinating Agency and in celebrating the continued partnership between the Summit and TravelTalkMedia as a Media Sponsor, we would like to invite you to participate in the prestigious 2nd World Tourism Marketing Summit. Beijing Tourism Administration is the host of the Summit with the support of China National Tourism Administration.

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania is the Honorary Global Chair, Multilateral Investment Fund (IADB, USA) is the Lead Global Partner and the Government of Bermuda is the Summit Strategic Global Partner, where the Deputy Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization will deliver the “Opening Keynote” address.

Sujit Chowdhury,
President & CEO World Trade University Global Secretariat
Secretary General,
2nd World Tourism
Marketing Summit

The Summit will be attended by 400 highly select senior travel and tourism executives, with half attending from China, along with 50 other countries which have great potential of conducting business with China; including executives of national and international corporations and organizations; Ministers of Tourism; leading world tourism experts from Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas and Australia, and global mass-media representatives interested in the promotion of travel and tourism in and with Chinese counterparts.

Astonishingly, the UN World Tourism Organization has indicated that China will be the fourth largest tourism source of outbound travelers by 2020, while concurrently becoming the largest tourism destination in the world. Addressing these anticipated quantum gains for inbound and outbound tourism in China and globally, provides the basis for the Second World Tourism Marketing Summit’s innovative format, including Moderated ‘Talk Show-Style’ Global Round Tables with Influential Executives; Interactive Workshops addressing present and future issues; Interactive “Let’s Make a Deal” sessions; Business-to-Business Meetings; the Marketing Showcase; China’s 100 Best demonstration; and three Gala Dinners.

Travel has long been a catalyst for cultural and economic exchange. From the convergence perspective, the maturing tourism industry is increasingly tied to the global economies, while concurrently meeting people’s insatiable appetite for adventure, knowledge and contributing to a more civil society, particularly the facilitation of partnerships between the developed and developing economies.

Your active participation within this unique format provides unprecedented opportunity for your organization and for our industry at all levels adding to the considerable momentum generated from the First Summit to the 3rd Summit being planned to be hosted in Busan, South Korea in 2008 and beyond.

We have taken the liberty of inviting you to play an active role by sharing your learned experience with and by learning from tourism industry experts and leading entrepreneurs from around the world. I truly hope that we will have the pleasure of having you (and/or your colleague) at the Summit, and experience your most timely leadership and tourism experience.

Should you be interested to participate, I request that you fill out the necessary Summit Registration Form (please find attached the Registration Form and Registration details), in order for you to be an official Global Distinguished Delegate at the Summit. To facilitate your engagement and/or participation of your nominated colleague, we look forward to receiving:
