Staff And Hundreds Of Members
Motor To 2004
Marketplace By Coach
Washington,
DC January 2004
Someone once said the way to get to
Carnegie Hall was practice, practice, practice. For the staff of
the American Bus Association,
the way to Carnegie Hall and the rest of New York City, and all
the other destinations in the state is motorcoach, motorcoach,
motorcoach.
As
part of an effort to promote the benefits of motorcoach travel,
ABA President and CEO, Peter J. Pantuso, along with ABA staff
will take a motorcoach from Washington, DC, to New York City for
the 2004
American Bus Marketplace. And thanks to the generosity of
ABA member New World Tours, Dattco and others, hundreds of ABA
delegates to Marketplace will also journey to New York City by
motorcoach.
| Pantuso
explained, Arriving in New York by motorcoach is the most
efficient, convenient and affordable way to travel. Unlike the
rail or airlines, motorcoaches can provide door-to-door service
in addition to scheduled service stops in the heart of New York
City. In addition, motorcoach travel is more affordable than
rail or air travel.

The American Bus
Marketplace is a unique event that pairs together hundreds of
bus and tour operators with thousands of sellers of travel
representatives from destinations, attractions, hotels and
restaurants. In a series of 7-minute speed dating
sessions, the business meetings generate millions of dollars in
future group travel business.
We
are so excited to be going to New York. Both the city and state
are the most popular tourist area in the country and were
proud to be bringing the group travel community to the city and
state to see all it has to offer. This is going to be a
fantastic Marketplace. Pantuso said.
The
2004 American Bus Marketplace takes place Jan. 16 - 21 at the
Jacob Javits Center. For more information on the event, visit www.buses.org.
