Soren, is a dashing young guy
who is a Jackson Square artist.

A native New Orleanian, Sψren was selected to create an original art piece for the festival. He has shown artwork around the United States as well as internationally and is among the new class of up-and-comers within the artist community in NOLA.

Greg Schatz is the festival's entertainment director. A very cool fellow and a musician himself, Greg has done a fantastic job in lining up the musical performances at the festival this year.

A native of Ithaca, New York, Greg played with Jeremy Lyons in high school garage bands and at cafes and clubs in Ithaca during college.

Since July 2002, Charles Chamberlain has served as the historian of the Louisiana State Museum, where he specializes in the history and culture of Louisiana.  After moving to New Orleans in 1990 from Texas, he graduated with a Ph.D. in US history from Tulane University in 1999, while also working for many years at Tulane’s Hogan Jazz Archive.

Jeremy Davenport (a gorgeous musician) is a cool jazz musician, one of New Orleans' best. He has a club in the Ritz Carlton and has cut several albums over the years.

Raised in a musical family by a music educator mother and trombonist father who has been a member of the St. Louis Symphony for forty years, Jeremy

recently completed his debut recording on the Basin Street Records label. “We’ll Dance ‘Til Dawn” will be released in the summer of 2009.

You can catch Jeremy Davenport live at The Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans on Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings.

In 1990, Sarah spent a couple of years at the Indianapolis Zoo after Hurricane Katrina before recently returning home to Audubon in New Orleans. She loves working with all of the Audubon’s facilities and attractions, including Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium and in the research facility, Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species.  The Audubon Nature Institute is a family of attractions in New Orleans along with a number of public parks and research facilities. Millions of guests visit Audubon's attractions in NOLA each year, learning about nature while having a great time.
