The National Tour Association’s MONTAGE event in Sevilla, Spain April 14th-17th will be a global gathering of travel buyers and sellers coming together for some serious business, networking, and educational workshops. Described as “an open marketplace of international travel commerce - in a city that captivates,” MONTAGE may just be the most innovative way to buy, sell and partner worldwide. That, plus the opportunity to explore a 2,000 year old city rich in culture and history make this the “don’t miss event” of the travel industry expo season in 2010.

If you were in Reno with us at the National Tour Association conference this past November, you will remember Santiago at one of the lunches. He and his companion told us about their beloved Spain and the excitement about Montage, the first all National Tour Association European exhibit. What made their speech memorable was the Spanish dance they did together at the end. It was fresh  and appealing. I think that is what Santiago hopes for Montage which will be showing off the hot spots of Spain and sponsored by the National Tour Association. Dates have been confirmed to be April 14-17 in the gorgeous city of Seville.

Take a simple, mil spec (that’s Army talk for “made to ‘military specifications’”) dog tag. Add a bright, soft “silencer” border made of silicone and available in a rainbow of colors. Provide an optional security cable to affix the tags onto luggage, sports equipment and other valuables. Emboss the tags with a traveler’s name, contact information, medical ID info, a group leader’s cell number, etc., etc. What do you have? A brilliant product called Travel Dog Tags for people and all their stuff. We love this product!

With the New Orleans’ Saints playing in the Superbowl next weekend in Miami, you might naturally think that this would be the ideal place to soak up some February sun, take in the game and enjoy a few over-the-top parties and rowdy celebrations. We think you’d be wrong! The REAL Superbowl party will be New Orleans! Heck, we count nearly 30 parades that were already on the schedule for next weekend long before the Saints even qualified for the Superbowl. And wait a minute! Did you know that the New Orleans Saints Parade (also put on the schedule long ago) will be held (win or lose) on Tuesday, February 9th! Yep, and Fat Tuesday, the official start of Mardi Gras, is just one week after that!  Hmm, you just might want to catch the big game on a big screen in the Big Easy!
