Mark Chandler is
a 7th generation
Californian with
a passion for
making wine a
greater part of
American
culture.
Mr. Chandler
has been the
Executive
Director of the
Lodi Winegrape
Commission since
1991. Under
his leadership
the number of
wineries in Lodi
has increased
from 8 to over
60 today.
Mr. Chandler is
past president
of the Society
of Wine
Educators. He
is a Master
Knight of the
Brotherhood of
the Knights of
the Vine, and
was named Sunset
Magazine’s
“Wine
Professional of
the Year” in
2005.
He is a
judge at
several
national
wine
competitions
and a
frequent
speaker at
wine venues
around the
globe.
Chandler is
also a
winegrower,
farming 180
acres of
vineyard in
the Lodi
appellation. |
