(San Diego) – The Visionaries announce that the 3^rd annual Blues at Braille Concert to benefit the Braille Institute San Diego Regional Center will take place on Friday evening, May 17, 2002. The benefit concert, the only major Blues event in the San Diego area, features entertainment, outdoors dining with food and beverages courtesy of popular San Diego eateries and a silent auction. Proceeds support Braille Institute in its mission to eliminate blindness as a barrier to the fulfillment of life.

"Blues at Braille is a fun evening with a powerful purpose," said Visionaries President and Co-Chair, Karin Getka. 'By supporting Braille Institute's work, the Visionaries help give hope to the growing number of people dealing with sight loss. People of all ages and all walks of life benefit from Braille's programs- available free of charge. Visionaries is proud to welcome Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. as the first major sponsor for this year's event. Rudolph and Sletten is a well-known general and engineering contractor specializing in medical device, biopharmaceutical, health care, and institutional projects.
