All roads lead to Cairo in Egypt.
·All roads lead to Cairo in Egypt. No matter where you want go you will most likely arrive and leave through Cairo.
·Cairo is known as the Jewel of the Orient, the City of the Thousand Minarets, and the Melting Pot of Ancient and Modern Egyptian Civilizations.
·Also known as the cradle of civilization and the beacon of religion. It is the largest city in the Middle East and Africa and lies at the centre of all routes leading to, and and from the three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe.

A must is the Cairo Museum
Built in 1902 and housing over 120,000 objects from prehistoric times to Greco-Roman era.
The building was as much a part of the museum, as any of the objects.
With special permission, we were given the rights to use all our photo equipment in the museum.
All of King Tot's possessions are displayed here Wow what a teenager!
He had a ton of things!

The pyramids are situated close
to Cairo within 45 minutes
Named as one of the Seven Wonders of the World in the 2nd century BC.
You would imagine them in the middle of the desert, however American fast food is across the street! UCK!
The pyramids have a very interesting texture, partly because for many years locals would come to get the outshell to use for their own homes. Very interesting when you see this.
Sphinx is very close and there is major construction and rebuilding of the areas making
Wonderfully assessable

Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings also had tombs for the favorite nobles and the wives and children of both the nobles and pharaohs
Tombs are numbered in order of finding.
So far 63 tombs have been found.
Tutankhamen found in 1922
Though small and unimpressive, King Tot's tomb is probably the most famous.
