Napa County is located north of the San Francisco Bay Area. Napa County is known today for its wine industry, rising in the 1960s to the first rank of wine regions with France and Italy. The combination of natural beauty, pleasant Mediterranean climate, and proximity to San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento has made it into one of the United States' most desirable areas
in which to live.

Every year, a quarter-million visitors make the trek to the “Pumpkin Capital of the World” for the epic Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. The festival will be held on October 14-15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Main Street between Miramontes and Spruce Streets in Half Moon Bay.
