Where: South San Diego Bay in search of the mystical reptile formerly known as the "green" sea turtle. Departure from J Street Marina in Chula Vista.

What: Paddling silent kayaks traverse warm shallow waters of South Bay passing over eelgrass beds to look for the heads and backs of turtles rising to breathe.

Instructor: Margie Stinson and Aqua Adventures staff. Margie Stinson was the first marine biologist to work with sea turtles in the northeastern Pacific
