from the Hilton Hotel where she  presented at the
World Tourism Marketing Summit (WTMS)

The trends are already in motion and many predict
the next ten years are going to be huge for the Pacific Asia region in
every aspect of travel and tourism.

OK! We'll be the first to admit it, we push the envelope when it comes to testing and
stretching technology. We had a LIVE program from CHINA that was truly historic
for us yet challenging for the two countries to connect and transfer data. Thus, our
quality is not as perfect as we would normally offer, however the ambiance of
CHINA is truly felt as Sandy brings the East and the West together for a
great love fest for CHINA.

Approximately 400 highly select senior travel and tourism executives are expected
to converge in Nanjing, of which 200-250 will be from China and the rest will
come from over 40 countries. All delegates will be coming ready to conduct
business and seize opportunities. Delegates will be joined by several Ministers,
senior Government officials, top executives from Multilateral Agencies (such
as the World Tourism Organization and UNCTAD, etc.), tourism experts, and a
large number of global mass media representatives interested in the promotion
of travel and tourism.

Consider this, the patron of conference had this to say.

"This exciting, meaningful and timely initiative aspires to boost the development
of tourism worldwide, enhance cooperation between China and
international tourism industry, and to explore new techniques in tourism
marketing for outbound, inbound and domestic tourism.

JEAN-CLAUDE BAUMGARTEN

President of the World
Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC)
Patron, World Tourism Marketing Summit 2004

WTMS will boost the development of tourism worldwide, enhance cooperation between China and international tourism industry,
and will facilitate new techniques in marketing
