Lead Story
Travellers concerns
Fears over
travelling and personal security are, apart
from the weather, the greatest concerns for
Britons holidaying abroad, according to
research published by Leger Holidays.
The company, one of the UK's leading
European coach holiday operators, polled
1,000 people and, climate aside, the journey
to the destination (16.9%) and personal
safety and security (15.6%) were consumers'
greatest concerns.
Leaving a home vacant (12.2%), injury or
illness (9.7%) and an inability to
communicate with foreigners (6.7%), were
other worries troubling holidaymakers.
